California Assemblywoman Diane Harkey AD73

Running for re-election in the 73rd Assembly District is Diane L. Harkey (R-Dana Point). A smart Conservative that gets it!  California is broke and has to change its wasteful ways. As the newly appointed Vice Chair of the Assembly Committee on PERSS (Public Employees Retirement System and Social Security) Diane will be looking out for the taxpayer and for ways to reform one of the biggest causes of run-away spending for the State

She was first elected to the California State Assembly in 2008 to represent the 73rd Assembly District, which includes the communities of Dana Point, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Oceanside, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano and Aliso Viejo.
In her first year in the Assembly, Harkey received a 100% pro-jobs rating from the California Chamber of Commerce on high-priority legislation related to economic growth and job creations. She quickly established a record of supporting pro-taxpayer legislation by voting for hard-working families and against the largest tax increase in the state’s history in February 2009.

While Harkey represents a “Reliably Republican ” District she is a credit to the California Assembly, so get to know her and if the 73rd is your district get out and support her!
